The Fleet

Patient First Transport Services own an extensive fleet of around 80 vehicles. These include high dependency ambulances, wheelchair modified ambulances and standard cars. They are configured to meet the needs of the hospital and the patient. Features of our vehicle include darkened windows to allow privacy, gliderite suspension to provide a smoother ride, tail lift ramps to accommodate wider chairs and flexible seating/stretcher solutions.

All vehicles are equipped with mobile phones to enable staff to report any delays that they might experience during their journeys.

The fleet is maintained to a high standard of mechanical repair and cleanliness in the company's own dedicated depot which operates around the clock.

In the case of a breakdown we have our own breakdown vehicle that can be assigned. In the case of the emergency an alternative crew can be assigned immediately to ensure the minimum delay in a patients journey.
