The Company

Patient First Transport Services Head Office is based in Battlefield, Shrewsbury. Our offices are home to our management, administrative and IT teams as well as our new Patient First Training Centre.

We hold a number of contracts with NHS Hospital Trusts and Shropshire County Council, for which we are responsible for the transport of non-urgent and higher dependency patient journeys.

Our area of operation mainly covers Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands and Cheshire, however we often travel nationally transferring patients between healthcare providers.

We have site offices at every hospital location for which we provide a service and from these offices we manage all our bookings and provide a liaison point between the company and service users.

The company's bespoke meridian booking system allows site offices to manage 'real time' journey planning, thus keeping patient waiting times to the minimal length prior to and after the hospital visit.

Our fleet and maintenance is managed at our depot in Newport, Shropshire.
